New: Weekly Account Summaries are here!

The weekly account summary provides a quick snapshot of your company’s assets. The account summary is delivered every week to all users with Account Administrator roles (who can in turn add additional recipients). The account summary includes:

Inventory: a summary of all the workstations, laptops and servers managed in the account, grouped by the operating system.

Software: information on the number of software titles used in the account, including unique titles and total installed titles (this would be the total number of software titles in the account). SAManage automatically classifies the entire account’s inventory and excludes “system” titles such as hotfixs, drivers and patches, so that the active inventory in the account is organized and easy to understand.

Another interesting data point is the number of software manufacturers used by the account (which is a topic for a separate post…).

Contracts: includes the number of open contracts or software licenses in the account. We’ll be adding expiration alerts shortly :)

Risks: a summary of the risks detected in the account, including active risks as well as discarded and resolved risks. Quick tip: if you discarded a risk category, you can always go back to the discarded risks view and reactivate a risk category at any time.
