New: Remote Deployment Tool (beta)
Today we’re excited to release our new Remote Deployment Tool (beta). The SAManage Remote Deployment tool simplify the management of large corporate installations of SAManage. Using the deployment tool you can remotely deploy the SAManage agent on all computers in your network using your domain administrator credentials in a matter of a few clicks.
The new tool makes implementing the SAManage SaaS IT Asset Management service even easier than before, and provide quick visibility into your network, computers, and software inventory. We’ve had great feedback from customers that used the tool during the closed beta and believe it will make it easier to deploy the SAManage service across any type of IT network.
To use the new tool, simply sign up for your SAManage account and download the SAManage Remote Deployment Tool. When launched you’ll get this screen:
Select either the Local Deployment option to install the agent on a your local computer, or the Remote Deployment option to install the SAManage agents remotely on selected or all computers in your network. Follow the wizard and the tool is on its way to remotely install the agents on all your computers and get your PC and Software inventory organized in your online SAManage account.
