Doron Gordon, CEO

Doron is a successful entrepreneur and the Founder and CEO of SAManage. Prior to founding SAManage, Doron was a Co-Founder and VP of Sales and Marketing at Continuity Software, a leading provider of disaster recovery and high availability management solutions. Earlier, Doron was a senior manager at BMC Software, a global leader in IT management software. He was also the Founder and CEO at Always-On Software, an innovative application service provider. Previously, Doron held various technical and sales roles at Crystal Systems and IDF/Mamram. Doron holds a B.Sc from Mercy College and an M.B.A. from Touro University. 

Darroll Buytenhuys, President

Darroll has over 30 years experience in sales, marketing and general management in the software industry. Most recently Darroll was a Senior Vice President and Officer of BMC Software (NYSE BMC). Darroll joined BMC as a result of the acquisition of New Dimension Software where he was the president of the North American operation and was also the company’s worldwide COO. New Dimension Software was an Israeli company (listed on NASDAQ) and its $800M acquisition by BMC was at the time the largest ever acquisition of an Israeli software company.

At BMC Darroll initially had responsibility for all BMC operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. He was subsequently promoted to head up the worldwide sales, services and support organizations with responsibility for over 3,000 employees in 42 countries.

Darroll was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa where his IT and software career was launched within the computer division of a prominent stockbroker. This division was later spun off and acquired by Computer Sciences Corporation where Darroll became its youngest ever divisional general manager. In 1986 Darroll relocated his family to the USA. Darroll has participated in numerous management and executive programs at the University of the Witwatersrand, London Business School and UCLA.

Nir Tzur, VP Engineering

Nir Tzur is a seasoned technologist and business executive specializing in building and managing world-class development organizations. Tzur's background includes more than 15 years of experience in various senior R&D management roles, during which time he was responsible for streamlining R&D processes and increasing organizational and technological agility while building and managing multiple research and development centers globally.

Tzur has held senior R&D management positions at BMC Software, Veritas Software, Precise Software, and Symantec. Tzur earned his MBA from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and his B.S. in Mathematics from Tel Aviv University.

Michael Mazyar, CTO

Mr. Mazyar is responsible for implementing the SAManage service vision, including all service and technology strategy and serves as our Chief Technology Officer. A veteran of multiple technology development platforms, Michael has deep experience and knowledge of Internet, SaaS and web technologies and building robust, highly scalable web sites and web platforms with a focus on distributed computing. Before joining SAManage, Michael was a development manager at BitWine, and software engineer at vizrt. Michael received his B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the Israel Institute of Technology.

Hans Van-Stek, General Manager, EMEA

Hans has more than 25 years experience in International enterprise software sales, services and marketing. He started his career with Computer Associates as a sales executive before moving into a sales management role. Hans then worked for BMC Software for 14 years in various management positions, initially being responsible for the Netherlands, followed by the Northern Region which included Benelux and the Nordics and for the last 4 years all of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In this last position Hans had responsibility for 1,300 people and annual revenue in excess of 500 million Euros. Most recently Hans worked for a Dutch Software company establishing their European operations and channels. Hans has a track record of successfully building new sales organizations with significant growth potential, using a current and relevant network of partners and end-user customers.
