Microsoft has changed how fees are structured for Enterprise Software Advisors (ESAs) to meet new software reporting requirements. Large Account Resellers (LARs) now need to provide either a “Usage-to-Licensing” report or a confirmation that each of their customers has a Software Asset Management (SAM) program in place that meets the ISO 19770-1 standard.
