Samanage Achieves ISO 27001 Certification
Certification signifies company’s commitment to strict data security processes for its cloud-based enterprise service desk solution
Cary, N.C. — May 12, 2015 — Samanage, provider of the only true multi-tenant, unified enterprise service desk cloud solution on the market, today announced another important milestone for its enterprise offering with the achievement of ISO 27001 certification.
The ISO 27001 certification is a framework of internationally recognized best practices for information security management systems (ISMS), and the required security practices within. These required security practices necessary for certification include the assessment and treatment of information security, and the legal, physical and technical controls involved in risk management processes.
The certification was achieved following two thorough audits of Samanage’s information management processes and data security controls.
