Is Work Email Disrupting the Personal Lives of U.S. Employees?
How is it possible that U.S. employees are spending more time checking their email outside of work than taking a vacation? Samanage surveyed 1,500 working U.S adults and discovered that not only is sleep being lost over emails, but dinner disruptions are growing, with 23 percent of respondents saying they check email “very often” during dinner.
Is it possible to combat this growing email takeover? More than one in three of employees surveyed do not have control settings in place to manage after-hours email.
