The State of Productivity in the Workforce
Potentially trillions of dollars are being lost to unproductive employees, or worse, to employees whose time is predominantly spent on tasks that should be automated. Samanage surveyed today’s workforce to find out how employees were using the tech they were provided and what changes they thought should be made to their organization’s policies.
The findings were staggering:
- One in three employees (36.8 percent) believe their company’s technology is outdated
- One in four workers think their company’s technology and policies hurt their productivity (25.4 percent)
- Two in three (63.4 percent) indicated that they continue to rely most heavily on email for collaboration and communication
